How to use Optimizer

Optimizer is the eclean area for reviewing and applying supported Windows tweaks. These tweaks can affect privacy, performance, updates, user interface behavior, optional Windows features, and other system settings.

Because Optimizer changes how Windows behaves, you should review each tweak before applying it.

How to use Optimizer safely

  1. Open the eclean desktop app.
  2. Go to Optimizer.
  3. Start with recommended tweaks if you are new to optimization.
  4. Read the tweak title, description, category, and warning labels.
  5. Add only the tweaks that match your goal.
  6. Review the pending changes list before applying.
  7. Apply the changes.
  8. Restart Windows if the tweak says a restart is needed.
  9. Test the affected feature before applying more tweaks.

How to undo a tweak

Open Optimizer, turn off the tweak you no longer want, and apply the pending change. You can also review Optimizer History for earlier changes.

Do not apply every tweak at once. Start with the smallest set of changes that matches what you want to improve.
