How to use Booster

Booster helps you review startup apps, services, scheduled tasks, and DNS settings that can affect everyday responsiveness.

Use Booster when your PC feels slow after sign-in, when background activity feels heavy, or when you want to review network-related DNS settings.

Choosing the right Booster tool

  • Startup Apps: Start here when your PC feels slow right after logging into Windows.
  • Services: Use this only when you understand what the service does or support asked you to check it.
  • Scheduled Tasks: Use this to review background jobs that run at certain times.
  • DNS Optimizer: Use this when browsing feels slow or unreliable and you want to compare DNS providers.

Safe Booster workflow

  1. Open the eclean desktop app.
  2. Go to Booster.
  3. Choose one Booster tool at a time.
  4. Read what the item does before changing it.
  5. Apply one small set of changes.
  6. Test the PC after the change.
  7. Use the same tool page or Booster History to review or undo supported changes.

Do not disable every unfamiliar item. Some background items are required for hardware, security software, updates, backups, cloud sync, VPNs, or managed devices.
