How to use Cleaner

Cleaner is the part of eclean for finding and removing files that take up space or are no longer needed.

It includes junk cleanup, large file review, secure file shredding, and cleanup history.

Choosing the right Cleaner tool

• Junk Cleanup: Use this for temporary files, caches, recycle bin cleanup, and supported cleanup categories.
• Find large files: Use this when disk space is low and you want to review big files before deleting them.
• File shredder: Use this when you want to securely delete specific files or folders.

Safe cleanup workflow

1. Open the eclean desktop app.
2. Go to Cleaner.
3. Start with Junk Cleanup if you are not sure where to begin.
4. Review selected categories, file names, and file locations.
5. Remove only files you are comfortable deleting.
6. Use File shredder only when you intentionally want recovery to be difficult.
7. Open Cleaner History after large cleanup sessions.
