How to update your payment method

Whether your credit card expired, you got a new bank account, or you simply want to switch to a digital wallet like PayPal or Apple Pay, you can update your eclean billing details through Stripe. We use Stripe to securely encrypt and vault your payment data, meaning eclean never directly stores your sensitive card numbers.


Steps to add or change your payment method


To update the card or account connected to your eclean billing profile:


  1. Log in to your eclean account dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Billing section.
  3. Click Manage Subscription to securely open your Stripe Customer Portal.
  4. Follow Stripe's prompts to add a new card, debit card, or supported digital wallet.
  5. Set the new payment method as the default payment method for future payments.
  6. (Optional) Remove an old, expired payment method once the new one is active.


What if a payment failed?


If a payment failed or stayed pending, update your payment method in Stripe and check your Billing tab again. Some payment methods require extra confirmation from your bank before eclean can mark the order as paid.
