I used an old Tweak Central app and need help

Tweak Central apps are discontinued and no longer supported. If you previously used Azurite or another Tweak Central app, eclean support cannot inspect the old app, provide a replacement build, or guarantee that every change can be reversed.

You can still use normal Windows recovery and repair options to troubleshoot your PC.

Start with basic checks

  1. Restart your PC.
  2. Install available Windows updates.
  3. Check whether the issue happens only in one app or across Windows.
  4. Review any Windows settings related to the issue.
  5. Uninstall the old Tweak Central app if it is still installed.

If the issue started recently

Check whether Windows has a restore point from before the issue began.

  1. Open the Windows Start menu.
  2. Search for Create a restore point.
  3. Open System Restore.
  4. Choose a restore point from before the issue started, if one is available.
  5. Follow the Windows prompts.

System Restore is a Windows feature. It may not be available on every PC, and it may not undo every change.

If Windows files may be damaged

Use Windows' built-in repair tools.

  1. Open Command Prompt or Terminal as administrator.
  2. Run:

sfc /scannow

  1. Wait for the scan to finish.
  2. Restart your PC if Windows asks you to.

If Windows still reports problems, use Microsoft's official Windows repair guidance or contact Microsoft support.

Can eclean fix old Tweak Central changes?

eclean can help with its own supported features, but it is not a recovery tool for discontinued Tweak Central apps.

Do not install eclean expecting it to automatically detect, undo, or repair every change made by Azurite or another old optimizer.
