I cannot sign into the desktop app

If you can sign in on the eclean website but not in the desktop app, your account may be missing a desktop-specific requirement.


The desktop app checks more than just your email and password. It also checks email verification, device limits, and session validity.


What to check first


  1. Log in to your eclean account dashboard.
  2. Confirm your email address is verified.
  3. Open the Security tab and revoke old desktop sessions if you may have reached your device limit.
  4. Restart the desktop app.
  5. Sign in with the same account you checked on the website.


Common reasons desktop sign-in fails


  • The account email is not verified.
  • The user is signing into the wrong account.
  • The device limit has been reached.
  • The session expired or was revoked.
  • The desktop app cannot connect to eclean.
