A DNS change broke my internet connection

DNS settings help your computer find websites and online services. If a DNS change is not supported by your network, VPN, proxy, or Windows version, browsing may stop working.

If this happened after using eclean, reset the DNS change first.

How to reset DNS in eclean

1. Open the eclean desktop app.
2. Go to Booster.
3. Open DNS Optimizer.
4. Click Reset DNS or choose the previous DNS option.
5. Test a few websites.

If eclean will not open

Use Windows network troubleshooting or reset DNS from Windows settings. You should also check VPN, proxy, firewall, antivirus, and work/school network policies.

If your PC cannot reach the website, contact support from another device or connection.
