How to use Quick Optimize in eclean

Quick Optimize is a guided Optimizer flow for users who want eclean to suggest a focused set of tweaks by category. It still uses a review step, so you can see what will be applied before anything changes in Windows.

Quick Optimize is useful for guided setup, but manual Optimizer review is better when you want exact control over each Windows tweak.

How to use Quick Optimize

  1. Open Quick Optimize: Go to Optimizer and start the Quick Optimize flow.
  2. Choose categories: Select from categories such as Performance, Battery life, Security, or Privacy.
  3. Read conflict warnings: If you select categories that may work against each other, such as Performance and Battery life, review the inline warning.
  4. Continue to review: Move to the review step and inspect the suggested tweaks.
  5. Apply now or save for later: Apply the suggested changes immediately or add them to pending changes for later review.
  6. Wait for processing: Let the processing step finish.
  7. Check history: Open Optimizer History afterward if you need to confirm the final result.

What Quick Optimize avoids

  • Quick Optimize is designed to avoid feature-breaking tweaks by default.
  • It does not replace reading the individual tweak descriptions when a setting affects a Windows feature you care about.
  • If you select no categories, eclean asks you to confirm before continuing.
