How to use Optimizer
Optimizer is the eclean area for reviewing and applying supported Windows tweaks. These tweaks can affect privacy, performance, updates, user interface behavior, optional Windows features, network behavior, battery life, and other system settings.
Because Optimizer changes how Windows behaves, review each tweak before applying it. Toggling a tweak only adds it to pending changes. eclean applies the change after you review the pending list and click Apply.
How to use Optimizer safely
- Open the eclean desktop app.
- Go to Optimizer.
- Start with recommended tweaks if you are new to optimization.
- Read the tweak title, description, category, warning labels, current state, and restart requirement.
- Open the information panel when you need more detail.
- Add only the tweaks that match your goal.
- Review the pending changes list before applying.
- Apply the changes.
- Restart Windows or Explorer if the tweak says a restart is needed.
- Test the affected feature before applying more tweaks.
What you can review before applying
