How to update your payment method

Whether your credit card expired, you got a new bank account, or you simply want to switch to a digital wallet like PayPal or Apple Pay, you can easily change how you pay for eclean. We use Stripe to securely encrypt and vault your payment data, meaning eclean never directly stores your sensitive card numbers.


Steps to add or change your payment method


To update the card or account charged for your active subscription:


  1. Log in to your eclean account dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Billing section.
  3. Click on the option to manage billing/payment details to securely open your Stripe Customer Portal.
  4. Scroll down to the Payment Methods section.
  5. Click + Add payment method and enter your new credit card, debit card, or digital wallet details.
  6. Once added, mark the new payment method as your Default.
  7. (Optional) Click the three dots next to your old, expired payment method and select Delete to remove it from your account completely.


What if my subscription is paused due to a failed payment?


If your eclean subscription was temporarily suspended because a recent renewal charge failed, adding a new default payment method will automatically retry the pending charge. Once the payment clears, your eclean subscription will instantly reactivate.
