How to change app settings in eclean

App Settings controls how eclean behaves as an application, including general app preferences and monitoring-related options. It is the right place to adjust behavior before assuming a feature page is broken.

Settings can change how eclean behaves, but they do not replace Windows system settings that are controlled by policy, drivers, or another app.

How to change app settings

  1. Open App Settings: Go to Settings > App Settings.
  2. Use search if needed: Search for the setting name if the page has several sections.
  3. Review General settings: Change general app behavior only when you understand the preference.
  4. Review Monitoring settings: Adjust monitoring if sensors or live metrics are enabled or disabled.
  5. Check optional sections: Discord Rich Presence appears only when that feature is available, and Atlas Mode appears only when eclean detects AtlasOS.
  6. Save or confirm changes: Follow any on-screen confirmation or save behavior shown by the setting.

If a setting is missing

  • The feature may be behind a feature flag.
  • The setting may appear only on supported Windows configurations.
  • Atlas Mode appears only when AtlasOS is detected.
  • Discord Rich Presence appears only when the feature is available in the current build.

If eclean is not in your Startup folder

Launch at startup does not create a normal shell:startup shortcut. eclean uses a Windows Scheduled Task for its own sign-in launch behavior. See Why eclean does not appear in the Startup folder if you are checking startup items and cannot find eclean where you expected it.
