System requirements for eclean

eclean is a lightweight, modern application designed to keep your PC running at peak performance. Since we interact with core system files and settings, eclean is built exclusively for modern Windows operating systems.

To install and run eclean smoothly, your computer should meet the following minimum system and hardware requirements.

Minimum hardware requirements

Because eclean is built on modern, highly efficient technology, it uses very few system resources. If your PC can run Windows 10 or 11, it can easily run eclean.

  • Processor (CPU): 1 GHz or faster compatible processor.
  • Memory (RAM): 1 GB of RAM minimum.
  • Storage (Disk Space): At least 100 MB of free hard drive space for the initial installation.

Supported operating systems

  • Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Windows 11 (64-bit)

Don't worry about applying the wrong settings for your specific OS. ecleans Optimizer is completely dynamic. It detects whether you're running Windows 10 or 11 and will only display the tweaks that are safe and fully supported by your exact version of Windows.

Additional Requirements

Since eclean is an online-only, modern desktop application, you'll also need the following to use the software:

  • An active internet connection: Required for initial activation, license validation, and fetching real-time updates.
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2: You do not need to download this manually. If your Windows installation does not already have WebView2 installed, the eclean setup wizard will automatically download and install it for you during the initial setup process.
  • Administrative privileges: You must be logged into Windows as an Administrator (or have the Administrator password) to install eclean and allow it to perform its actions.

Unsupported operating systems

Currently, eclean does not support macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, or older versions of Windows (such as Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1).

Running optimization software on unsupported or end-of-life operating systems can cause system instability, so we restrict installations to Windows 10 and 11 to ensure your PC remains safe.
