Setting up Two-factor Authentication (2FA)
Adding Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to your eclean account is the best way to ensure your profile, personal data, and subscription stays secure. When 2FA is enabled, logging in will require both your password and a unique, time-sensitive code generated by an app on your smartphone.
How to enable 2FA on your account
Before you begin, make sure you have an authenticator app installed on your mobile device, such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Log in to your eclean account dashboard.
- Navigate to the Security tab on the main menu.
- Scroll down to the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section.
- Click the Enable 2FA button. A QR code will appear on your screen.
- Open your authenticator app on your phone and select the option to Add a new account or Scan a QR code.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your computer monitor.
- Your app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter this code into the verification box on the eclean website and click Verify.
