Requesting your eclean account data

We believe your data belongs to you. Because eclean performs all PC scanning and optimization locally on your computer, the data we actually store on our servers is minimal—limited strictly to what is necessary to manage your account, validate your license, and provide customer support.

You have the right to view and download a copy of this data at any time.

How to download your basic account data

You can quickly generate an export of your primary eclean account profile directly from your dashboard. This file will include your account details, active license keys, and basic subscription status.

  1. Log in to your eclean account dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Security tab on the main menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Data & Privacy section.
  4. Click the Export Data button.
  5. A downloadable file containing your account data will be generated and saved to your computer.

What is not included in the dashboard export?

To provide you with the best possible service, eclean utilizes a few secure, industry-leading third-party providers. Because this specific data is hosted on their respective platforms, it is not included in the automated dashboard export:

  • Support conversations: Your ticket history and email communications with our helpdesk (managed via Crisp).
  • Full billing records: Comprehensive transaction histories and official PDF invoices (managed securely via Stripe).
  • App telemetry & error tracking: Anonymous crash reports and error metrics used by our developers to fix bugs and improve the software (managed via Sentry and Posthog).

How to request a complete data archive

If you require a comprehensive export of absolutely everything tied to your account—including the third-party data listed above—you can submit a formal Data Subject Access Request (DSAR).

To request your complete data archive, please send an email to privacy@eclean.gg from the email address associated with your eclean account.

For your protection, our team will need to verify your identity before compiling and releasing a full data archive. Please allow up to 30 days for us to gather this information from our third-party partners and securely deliver it to you.
