# How to use Quick Optimize in eclean

Quick Optimize is a guided Optimizer flow for users who want eclean to suggest a focused set of tweaks by category. It still uses a review step, so you can see what will be applied before anything changes in Windows.

|| Quick Optimize is useful for guided setup, but manual Optimizer review is better when you want exact control over each Windows tweak.

### How to use Quick Optimize

1. **Open Quick Optimize:** Go to Optimizer and start the Quick Optimize flow.
2. **Choose categories:** Select from categories such as **Performance**, **Battery life**, **Security**, or **Privacy**.
3. **Read conflict warnings:** If you select categories that may work against each other, such as Performance and Battery life, review the inline warning.
4. **Continue to review:** Move to the review step and inspect the suggested tweaks.
5. **Apply now or save for later:** Apply the suggested changes immediately or add them to pending changes for later review.
6. **Wait for processing:** Let the processing step finish.
7. **Check history:** Open Optimizer History afterward if you need to confirm the final result.

### What Quick Optimize avoids

* Quick Optimize is designed to avoid feature-breaking tweaks by default.
* It does not replace reading the individual tweak descriptions when a setting affects a Windows feature you care about.
* If you select no categories, eclean asks you to confirm before continuing.
