Deleting your eclean account

We're sorry to see you go! If you no longer wish to use eclean, you have the right to permanently close your account and remove your personal data from our active systems at any time.

Before you proceed, please read the following information carefully, as account deletion is a permanent action.

What happens when you delete your account?

• Loss of access: Because eclean requires an active account to validate your license, deleting your account will instantly revoke your access to the software.
• Subscription cancellation: Any active subscriptions tied to your account will be immediately cancelled via Stripe. You will not be billed again, but you'll forfeit any remaining time on your current billing cycle. We don't offer prorated refunds for deleted accounts.
• Permanent data loss: Your account details, saved billing details, and support history will be permanently erased. This action cannot be undone or recovered.

How to delete your account

If you're ready to permanently close your eclean account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your eclean account dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Security tab on the main menu.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to locate the Data & Privacy section.
4. Click the Delete Account button.
5. A confirmation window will appear. You will be asked to enter your current password to verify your identity.
6. Click Yes, Delete My Account to finalize the process.

A note on billing records

While your eclean account and profile data will be erased immediately, please note that our payment processor, Stripe, is legally required to retain basic transaction records (such as past invoices and receipts) for tax and financial compliance purposes.
